Who we are?

In Aug, 2005 a group of like-minded individuals gathered together to think of ways in which they could be of help to the society. Even though all of us decided to do something at our native places, we were not very sure how to execute. We have started helping some needy people published in Indian newspaper internet editions. Gradually we came to know how difficult it is to execute the projects in India by sitting here in USA. we have started searching for non-profit organizations both in India and USA that could help us to execute different kind of projects that we are thinking of at our native place. We ended up with nothing and felt the need for one such kind of organization.

Finally we have started an organization called Spandana Foundation and made our need as an objective. Main objective of Spandana Foundation is to create the Vibrations of social service in NRI's and Motivate them to execute social Response projects at their native place. In other words, Spandana Foundation is a platform to facilitate the social responsibility projects at your native place. Spandana Model defined the process to make you understand how we facilitate various projects.

Spandana have defined four projects to address all kinds of needs at our native places. Members can initiate any activity under each project and execute at their native place. Members execute projects of their choice. Projects are done by members, not by Spandana.
